We are looking for the best, most original, and commercial range of designs that are suitable for cards, stationery and/or gifts.

You should submit up to six designs to show that the concept is “rangeable” but you could submit more than one set of designs, but up to a maximum of four of entries.

A shortlist of finalists will be announced at PGLive at the Business Design Centre in Islington, on Wednesday 6th of June.

The deadline for entries is Thursday May 31st 2018 at 6pm GMT.

The shortlist will be judged by David Hicks, owner and art director of Really Good and Soul, Jakki Brown, editor in chief of Progressive Greetings and Progressive Gifts, Alan Harnik, a great American importer of all things paper, Jenny Cummins, a long time distributor in Australia of paper and giftware, Claire Castle, senior buyer at WHSmith, and Mark Janson-Smith, owner of London stores, Postmark.

David Hicks will ultimately judge the winning entry from the finalists, and announce the winner on Tuesday 17th July, at the Home and Gift Fair in Harrogate. The winner will be notified by email.

The prize is a £1000, and obviously being under the noses of some of the most influential card and gift people on the planet. Plus a possible publishing deal (on a royalty basis), subject to the winning design being a suitable fit for the publisher.
